The "Image Viewer" (Figure 1) is accessed via the "View Image" or thumbnail links on the resource record page. Only one image may be accessed at a time. The "Image Viewer" includes a number of controls for exploring the resource.

The lower left-hand panel includes Download (D) and Share (E). Use the Navigator (F) to quickly move around the image in the center panel. Click on the Full Screen icon (G) to enter full-screen mode. Click the icon again or press Esc on your keyboard to exit full-screen mode. Click the double arrow (H) to open the More Information panel. Open the Settings menu (I) for more options.
Zoom
The "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out" buttons allow you to maximize and minimize the size of the image using the pre-defined zoom levels. Alternatively, you can use your mouse to click on the image to zoom in. Left-click on your mouse to move the enlarged image around on your screen. To reset the image, click the "Zoom Out" button until it returns the image to its original size.
Rotate
The "Rotate" button allows you to rotate the image clockwise in 90 degree increments.
Adjust Image
The "Adjust Image" button allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation of the image within the viewer.
Download
Click the "Download" icon and select "Whole image" to download the Standard Image (JPG) file of the image. To download a zoomed-in snippet of an image, select "Current view". To download the Master Image (TIFF) or Metadata (Dublin Core) files, return to the resource page and use the blue Download button.
Share
Click the "Share" icon to access options to copy and share the link to the resource page and open the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) manifest.
