LIBELS FILED : On or about November 17,1950, Middle District of Pennsylvania. ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about October 26, 1950, by the Vincennes Packing Corp., from Lockport, N. Y. PRODUCT: 174 cases, each containing 12 1-quart, 14-ounce cans, of tomato juice, and 552 cases, each containing 24 14-ounce bottles, of tomato catsup, at York, Pa. LABEL IN PART: "Shurflne Tomato Juice" or "Penn Dale Brand Tomato Catsup." in whole or in part of decomposed substances by reason of the presence of decomposed tomato material. DISPOSITION : January 3, 1951. The Vincennes Packing Corp., Vincennes, Ind., claimant, having consented to the entry of decrees, judgments of condemnation were entered and the court ordered that the products be released under bond for the purpose of segregating the fit portion from the unfit, under the super- vision of the Food and Drug Administration. Salvage operations resulted in the destruction of 126 cases of tomato catsup and all of the tomato juice seized, 104 cases, and the release of 362 cases of tomato catsup.
