856. Adulteration of blueberries. TJ. S. v. '210 Half-Busbel Baskets of BlueŽ berries. Default decree of condemnation and destruction. (F. D. C. No. 2794. Sample No. 33899-E.) On September 11, 1940, the United States attorney for the District of New Jersey filed a libel against 210 half-bushel baskets of blueberries at Newark, N. J., alleging that the article had been shipped in interstate commerce on or about August 12, 1940, by Scoblick Bros, from Archbald, Pa.; and charging that it was adulterated in that it consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance. On November 29, 1940, no claimant having appeared, judgment of condemna- tion was entered and the product was ordered destroyed.
