Emertcan Sgnecologtcal Society. Dear Sir : The Fellows in Philadelphia state that the weather will pro- bably be uncomfortably hot in that city during the second week in September, and that most members of the profession will still be out of town, as will the families of the Philadelphia Fellows ; for these reasons it is proposed to postpone the meeting of the Society to September 25th, 26th and 27th, provided the change will be acceptable to a majority of the Fellows. Please inform me whether this plan will suit your convenience. JAMES R. CHADWICK, Secretary. Boston, "July 26, 1878.
