A BILL To authorize and direct the Secretary of the Treasury to cede the abandoned marine-hospital buildings and grounds at New Orleans to the board of administrators of the Tulane Univer- sity of Louisiana. Whereas the building which was many years ago constructed at New Orleans as a marine hospital by the Government of the United States has been abandoned and is useless for any Gov- ernmental purpose whatsoever, the Government having re- cently erected a new marine hospital: Therefore, 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, 4 authorized and directed to cede to the hoard of administrators 5 of the Tulane University of Louisiana the buildings and prem- 6 ises known as the marine hospital of the United States, 7 located in the rear of the city of New Orleans, for the serv- 8 ice and uses of the said university: Provided, That should the 9 said Tulane University at any time cease to use the said build- 10 ing for the purposes of education, the same shall revert to the 11 Government of the United States.
