To Commissioned Officers and All Others Concerned: Substitution for gold bullion, gold thread, and gold lace.—In the making of devices and insignia as required by the Uniform Regu- lations, the use of gold-colored metal is authorized as a substitute for gold bullion, and the use of gold-colored silk thread and tightly woven gold-colored braid is authorized as a substitute for gold lace.
