the following pages is a copy, in which I promised

FULL THREE MONTHS' TREATMENT will be advanced to Five 
Dollars on Aug. 1, 1908. Understand me perfectly. 
You can buy this most reliable of all weak man 
remedies for the use of yourself or any of your

DURING my experience of more 
than thirty years in the drug and 
chemical profession, I have, as a 
dispenser of drugs and medicines,handled 
nearly all the so-called cures for what is 
usually termed Lost Mannood, and I 
was most forcibly struck with the fact 
that it is seldom indeed that any of those 
who purchased the nostrums derived any 
permanent benefit from their use. In 
fact, most of them grew weaker. 
AN INVESTIGATION 
TWO years ago I instituted a most 
searching analysis of several of 
the widely advertised cures in my 
laboratory, and to my astonishment 
found that they all contained Nux-Vomica 
(a preparation in which Strychnine is 
the active principle), Phosphorus, or 
Spanish Fly—a line of rank poisons and 
narcotics which should never be used 
without the special advice of an educated 
physician, and which my long-time ex- 
perience had taught me absolutely 
dangerous excitants, the use of which 
under ordinary circumstances could not 
do anything else than bring about disas- 
trous consequences. It is needless for 
me to say that none of these nostrums— 
no matter how widely they may have been 
advertised—have been sold over my coun- 
ters from that day to this, and no amount 
of money could induce me to sell them 
now, since I know their horrid character. 
ANOTHER INVESTIGATION 
A FURTHER investigation brought 
the knowledge that scores of 
scoundrels, operating under the 
names of Physicians, Institutes, Compa- 
ny Titles, or Philanthropists,were using 
the public press to advertise “Free 
Cures,” “Free Treatments” and “Free 
Prescriptions” for Lost Manhood. The 
“Prescription” fellows proved to be 
rogues who sent out a prescription that 
no druggist on earth wrho has any respect 
for his profession could or would fill it ; 
and here again chemical analysis in my 
laboratory demonstrated the horrible fact 
that the wretched nostrums they send by 
express C.O.D., without your order, and 
which they try to blackmail you into 
taking, like the “Free Cures” and “Free 
Treatments,” consist of poisonous drugs 
and stimulants that afford temporary 
relief only, and which eventually destroy 
both body and mind. It is needless for me 
to enlarge upon the subject of that Prince 
of Fakirs—the sacrilegious fraud who 
claims Divine power and effects to pray 
weakmen strong at long range. These va- 
grants can only prey upon the credulity 
of the ignorant, and it is wrell that the 
U. S. Government is now denying them 
the use of the mails for their nefarious 
schemes. Any man possessing only the 
rudiments of an education knows that a 
couple of metal plates covered with 
flannel will not produce electricity, and 
cannot wTork wonders in the building up 
of broken down constitutions ; and no 
man of sense will countenance the 
claims of the “Absent Treatment” fraud 
for a single moment. 
ANOTHER INVESTIGATION 
MY PROFESSION and practice of 
chemistry and pharmacy natur- 
ally brought me into close rela- 
tions with many of the best physicians, 
and in a strictly humanitarian spirit I 
corresponded and consulted with many 
of the most eminent doctors in this coun- 
try and Europe, with a view to securing 
if possible an honest remedy for Nervous 
Troubles with their long train of evils, 
so that I might in some measure be of 
use to men who are ashamed to go 
direct to a physician for treatment of 
private ailments,such asfailingmanhood.

embodied in the following formula which 
has proven the greatest scientific triumph 
of the age in the curing of Varicocele and 
Nervous Debility or Physical Decline, 
and in restoring manly vigor even to ripe
