I-.Paragraph 3, of General Orders No. 45, from this Office, dated 
July 19, 1861, having been misunderstood, it is hereby repealed. But 
volunteers are advised to enlist under officers whose language they 
speak and understand. 
II..The term of service of Brigadier General Daniel Tyler, Con- 
necticut Volunteers, having expired, he is hereby honorably discharged 
from the service of the United States.
