AN EXPLANATION OF JONES9 Remedy for ESOT©IS3e Leprosy, (white scurf) Salt- Rheum, Erysipelas, ********, Tetter, Prairie Itch (of the West,) and all cutaneous dis- eases, can be cured by this medicine : operating as a puri- fier of the Blood, as the within testimonials will very evidently show. 1 842. This compound is tlie result of along course of experiments upon my own person—having inherited from my mother a disease called Lep- rosy, which had baffled all human skill for four- teen years, and was said by skilful physicians to be incurable—from which I suffered more than I can tell, and which was entirely removed by this medicine about two and a half years since. It now having been used with great success in this vicinity, and many other parts of New England, for Scrofulous and other Cutane- ous Diseases, of every form, and some of most aggravated character, I am now induced to offer it still further to the public in an improved shape, with such entire confidence in its effica- 2 cy as to say I will refund the pay in all cases, where it is faithfully used according to direc- tions, without an equivalent benefit. The daily increasing demand for this medi- cine, and the difference in ages and sexes who use it for Humors, seems to require a new and revised bill of directions, which is now prepared with great care and plainness—to accompany each package under my own signature, Cha’s Jones, without which none will be genuine. Such is the multiplicity of ways in which Humors make their outward appearance, as to render it extremely difficult to adapt a bill of directions to every case so minute and par- ticular as to supersede the necessity of a little judgment and discretion in regulating the daily dose, suffice it to say, it will only need be tried to be approved, as maybe seen by the following out of very many strong testimonials ; The genuine is put up only at my own room and under my own care, in square lettered bot- tles, each containing enough for most cases, and accompanied by two boxes of Pills, or one of double size, of 50 Pills each ; and when used without the Drops, for renovating the blood, or for a family medicine, (should be taken on re- tiring) will be found second to none in use. Is to be found in many of the principal towns in New-England and New-York, and will be put before the entire American public soon as may be practicable—and not to be kept from the poor. 3 Being called upon from various directions, for further explanations of this medicine and its operation upon the various diseases of the skin, for which it has proved itself so sure an internal remedy, I would say it is a compound of vegeta- bles and minerals, is perfectly sale for all ages, sexes and constitutions, if the directions are fol- lowed, without changing the diet or habits, (if temperate.) Perhaps I need not speak separately, of Leprosy, Salt-Rheum, Erysipelas, Scald-Head, Prairie licit, or other eruptions on the skin— they are ail of a kindred disease, and need much the same treatment. Sufferers know too well their effects, and only desire a cure. Scrofula (or King’s Evil) prevails mostly among children, and frequently affects the glands in the neck, arm-pits and groins. It is obstin- ate of cure, if of long standing, and has hitherto bid defiance to all medicine. But most of the cases I have known, yield readily to these Drops, and others also on a more thorough trial. Scurvy in the gums, is the result of Scrofula, or humors in the stomach, and has been cured by them. Also, many cases of Head-ache and Inflammatory Rheumatism, which have their origin in humors, external or internal. In some cases of Females, at certain periods, they have found it necessary to omit them for a day or two. In others, when nature was slack in her duty, they have been of important benefit. One phial, which may last from 8 to 12 weeks, 4 will in many cases prove sufficient. Obstinate cases of long standing, may need two or three; for it is often necessary to persevere in the use of the remedy, a few weeks after it disappears, that it may be thoroughly eradicated from the system. These Drops often sicken a little, which is no cause for alarm. They also frequently throw the disease more upon the surface, which shows that they operate to good effect. These diseases require patience and perse- verance in the use of remedies—they cannot be eradicated in a day or a week, and those who expect such results from this or any other med- icine, will be disappointed. Yet some have found relief in the use of this medicine, in the first month. Neither will they cure while stand- ing upon the shelf untouched, or only occa- sionally. Patience and perseverance will lead them on to victory, and a failure is not charge- able to the medicine, where the directions have not been followed. In some cases, where the stomach has long heen disordered, these Drops operate sufficiently as a purgative; but in most cases as a tonic. In either case the Pills should be used moderately. 5 TESTIMONIALS. I hereby certify that I have been intimately acquainted with Mr.Charles Jones,of Claremont* N. H. for a number of years last past, and have been consulted by and prescribed for him, for a very obstinate disease of the skin, well known by the name of Leprosy, but could do no more than mitigate the disease for a time. Since he has effected a radical cure by means of his Dropj for Humors, I have examined him, and am happy to say that his skin is perfectly smooth and free from the disease. JAMES CROMBIE, Physician. Francestown, N. H. Sept. 15, 1840. We the undersigned physicians, have been acquainted with cases where Mr. Jones3 Drops were taken, and a cure effected, and no injury done to the person or health. We therefore believe them a perfectly safe remedy if taken agreeable to the directions and persevered in from three to six months. MOSES COBB, M. D. Springfield, Vt. JOHN S. SPALDING, M. D. Claremont Claremont, Jan. 5, 1841- From Rev. A. H. Fullerton. Mr. Jones,—Sir; A desire to benefit others induces me to send this testimonial in favor of your u Drops for Humors.” For three years past, I have been afflicted with a Scrofulous humor which assumed the most threatening ap- pearance, such as sore throat, swelling of the neck, sides and hands; large hard bunches on the neck and in the arm-pits, accompanied with much soreness and pain. To such an extent did the disease rage as to produce apparent de- formity of features; my lungs became irritated, intellectual faculties benumbed, with the entire loss of the sense of smelling. I consulted sev- eral skilful physicians, but all pronounced my disease incurable. I have taken one bottle of your medicine and commenced using the sec- ond, and to all appearance have effected a per- fect cure, and I no longer bear the traces of this most afflicting disease. Former strength of lungs, body and mind have returned, the sense of smelling restored, and the swellings and bunches have disappeared. This is a simple statement of facts, which you are at liberty to use as you please. A. H. FULLERTON. Pembroke, N. H. July 26, 1841. Mr. Jones,—Dear Sir: It is with the utmost confidence and pleasure that I now address you, and inform you of a complete eradication of Salt-Rheum in my son, which commenced in his infancy and continued nearly nine years, and I doubt whether any person in New-Eng- land has used more exertion to effect a cure than myself; but all has been lost, until I ob- 7 tained your invaluable medicine, and I have no reason to doubt that this, and this alone, has effected a cure. (fCf3 I should be gratified to see any one at my house, not only to show, but to tell them of this remarkable cure in ray sou.—Respectfully, I remain your obedient servant, Francestown, Nov. 20, 1841. JOHN GIBSON. Mr. Jones : —Sir, I am happy to inform you that the Medicine for Humors you sent my wife has had the desired effect. I now know them to be the best medicine for humors that is in use, and although 1 have been as much opposed to patent medicines as a man can be, I think your’s worthy of the highest recommendation. I wish it to be expressly understood I do not now take this stand in favor of your medicine without am- ple knowledge of its efficacy in my own family. I would hereby certify that my wife has been afflicted for the past ten years with the Scrofulous Humor, and for the past years it has been very severe, having assumed a different form, resem- bling Salt-rheum, which affected her whole sys- tem—her hands in particular, being completely covered with sores, her eyesight affected, so that she was unable to read or write, or attend to the duties of the household. She commenced taking the medicine the 14th of November and has taken about two-thirds of one bottle. At this time she is completely cured, the humor having 8 entirely disappeared, her eyesight restored and otherwise in perfect good health. In conclusion, I can only say that after taking a great many prescriptions from celebrated medical men, with- out the least good resulting therefrom, we can only attribute the cure to vour medicine. Yours truly, Nashua, Dec. 24,1840. E. P. EMERSON. ]\lr. C. Jones,—Dear Sir: I can say that the effects produced by the use of your medicine have truly been good, and as now appears, the cure perfect. I have two sons—one 14, the other 9 years of age, who have been afflicted with very troublesome humors—the oldest from infancy. In cold weather more than in warm, the disease would spread over the whole body, head and limbs, producing a roughness or scurvy. When exposed to the air or to flannel, it would become very much irritated, painful and bleed, also on the head. We have never succeeded in obtaining any medicine that produced any per- manent relief. On learning the effect of your drops on yourself and others, from persons in whom I had full confidence, (by the way I am no friend to patent medicines in general) I ob- tained a package of your medicine, and used it strictly according to the directions, and before consuming the whole of one bottle and box, the cure appeared to be perfect in both cases, and so continues to this time, and at the season of From Col. Alvah Smith. the year when the disease has always been the worst. I can therefore recommend it with con- fidence to persons afflicted with humors. Yours respectfully, ALVAH SMITH Lempster, N. H. Feb. 6, 1841. Jones’ Drops. Of this new medicine so much spoken of in aIJ quarters, we know nothing from our own experience, but our associate, the publisher of the Eagle, has furnished the fol- lowing:— “It is not often that we call the reader’s at- tention to the many new discoveries in the “healing art” which have made such a display in the newspaper press for the last few years.— Some of them are doubtless valuable, and are duly appreciated by that portion of poor mortal- ity who are too prone to resort to the pill box whenever they discover the slightest derange- ment in that complicated machinery which con- stitutes their body corporate. In giving a favora- ble notice to this valuable discovery of Mr. Jones, we are enabled to speak from actual experience, and we are doing but an act of justice to suffer- ing humanity as well as to a public benefactor, in giving our testimony in favor of the efficacy of his di’ops. In addition to the cures effected in our own family, old and obstinate cases of scrof- ulous complaints have come to our knowledge, which have yielded to their influence, and the From the Claremont Eagle 10 disease entirely eradicated from the system.— Having given the article a thorough trial upon his own person, the proprietor recommends it to his suffering fellow-creatures with the greatest confidence that it will accomplish the cures for which it is designed. We think the medicine invaluable, and Mr.Jones richly merits the thanks of the community for the discovery. Northfield, Vt. Feb. 22, 1841. Having been afflicted for twenty years with a disease of the skin, called the Scrofula or Lep- rosy, or by some a cancerous humor, inherited from my father, and having tried various means without much effect, I was induced from rec- ommendation, to try Mr. Charles Jones’ Drops for humors, and used two bottles of the same and the disorder appears to be removed, and I can say I have full faith in their efficacy for humors. JOHN AYER ILL. Mr. Charles Jones. I have been seriously afflicted with a disease of the skin for 14 years, called by physicians Leprosy, and seeing a notice of “Jones’ Drops for Humors,” I procured 2 Bottles, which have entirely eradicated the loathsome disease and to all appearance effected a permanent cure, and I do not hesitate to recommend it to all who are afflicted with Humors. Those who wish for further information relative to these facts will From the Boston Pally Mail. 11 please call on me at Washington Hall, Boston Neck, No. 833, and see for themselves. SAMUEL G. EVERETT. March 30, 1841. Although I am no advocate for the many ad- vertised medicines of the present day, yet a sense of duty impels me to state to the public, that I have been greatly and sorely afflicted, for more than 30 years, with a humor, the manifes- tations of which W'ere a white scurf, covering my entire head, body and limbs. During this long period, I was at great expense in seeking for a remedy, but all to no purpose, till in No- vember, 1841, I made a journey of 60 miles to see Mr. Charles Jones of Claremont, N. H. and found he had been 14 years afflicted with the same disorder, but was now perfectly cured, by the use of his own “ Drops and Pills for Humors.” 1 took the first bottle, in about 10 weeks, and have now just commenced on the second, and can thankfully and joyfully say for the first time, that I am perfectly healed of my Leprosy, not hesitating to declare that ‘Jones’ Drops and Pills for Humors,’ have wrought this wonderful cure and will prove a like invaluable blessing to others, for all diseases of the skin, if they will faithfully try them according to his directions. I can exhibit far more proof of the astonishing efficacy of this medicine, on my own person than on paper. PRENTISS KNIGHT, Postmaster, Newbury, Vt. 12 New Lebanon Springs, 15th March, 1842. Dear Sir—l received last summer from an agent, some of your Drops for Humors, and am happy in informing you that they have done some wonderful cures. One, in the case of the boy whom your agent saw at this place, who was completely covered with sores insomuch that he walked like an old man of 80 years of age, and who is now to all appearance cured. Others in the cases of children who had the Salt-Rheum by inheritance and otherwise. My object in writing you is, to say that the supply left me is exhausted, and to request you to for- ward me 2or 3 dozen, as soon as possible. I can get them from Troy. Yours truly, E. E. GRIGGS. Charles Jones, Esq. The undersigned desirous to act on the di- vine principle of doing to others as he would that they should do unto him, hereby makes known, that he has a daughter, who at the age of 9 years, began to be afflicted with an itching, painful irritation of the skin upon the head, coating the skin with a white leprous scurf, which on being removed, was succeeded by running sores, and all this for the space of about 6 years. I consulted physicians, both in Mas- sachusetts and New-Hampshire, and used sev- eral of their prescriptions, but all without any essential benefit, until in August or September lash at the suggestion of Dr. Josiah Richards of 13 this town, I procured “Jones’ Drops and Pills for Humors.’ In the use of one bottle of which an evident cure was wrought—but in order to eradicate the loathsome disorder beyond all doubt, and render the cure doubly sure, she en- ters to-day upon the use of the second bottle.— Let all, similarly afflicted, and who wish for the same most happy results, lose no time in pro- curing and using this wonderfully efficacious medicine. JOHN K. SMITH. Claremont, March 1, 1842. By the recent use of Jones’ Drops for Humors, I am now relieved of a breaking out, or disease of the skin, which has caused very severe, in- describable and almost continual sufferings for more than twenty years. Previous to the use of this remedy, nearly the whole surface of my body was covered with large pimples, blotches and occasional running sores, but were worse on ray limbs, for which, all former remedies have proved entire failures. From the benefit thus immediately experienced, I can cordially recommend this medicine as safe and powerfully efficacious to others afflicted in like manner, who, if they please, may call on me and see for themselves that my statement is a reality and no fiction. DANIEL HODGMAN. No. 174 1-2 Broadway, N. Y. March 4, 1842. 14 This certifies to whom it may concern, that my little son five years old, has had the Scrofula from his birth, with several large bunches on the neck—that we have tried many things high- ly recommended as remedies, but all in vain, till recently giving him half of one phial of Jones’ Drops for Humors, which has really cured him in the removal of the bunches and all appear- ance of the disease without injury to the present health of the child. From this fact, and my oilier knowledge of said medicine, I can cor- dially recommend it as efficacious and safe in all similar cases and diseases of the skin. New-York, 90, Yarick street, Oct. 30, 1841. L. D. JOHNSON. Hearing of a Medicine prepared by Mr. Cha’s Jones of this town, for Humors, and having seen its beneficial effects, I applied for it for my little daughter 4 years of age, much afflicted with Salt-rheum, supposed to be an hereditary com- plaint. I can now say that after using it six weeks, ray hopes are lully realized in a cure, without injuring the child’s health, and can now recommend it to others as a safe and infal- lible remedy for such complaints. MARY E. TERRY. Claremont, Sept. 15, 1840. Boston, Oct. 9, 1841. Having been afflicted wdth Leprosy danger- 15 ously for many years, and having employed the best Physicians I could hear of, without receiv- ing any benefit, I at last heard of “Jones’ Drops for Humors,” and procured two bottles, which have to all appearance entirely cured me; and 1 can truly say that they are safe for all to use if taken according to the directions, and I do not hesitate to recommend them to all who are afflicted with humors. JOHN RICH. N. B. Persons wishing to see me on this subject, may find me at Shop No. 3, Fulton St. Boston, or at my residence, No. 5, Fourth St. South Boston. J. R. From Rev. Mr. 4' Mrs Burnett. During the period of 17 or 18 years, I have experienced almost continual suffering from the Erysipelas or St. Anthony’s Fire, which has produced great and troublesome swelling of the limbs,—much dizziness of the head and dim- ness of sight, with severe head-ache, much itching and roughness of skin, redness and heat, especially about the neck and face. From first to last, 1 have tried the supposed best prescrip- tions of Physicians, until taking one phial of ‘Jones’ Drops for Humors,’ during about 10 weeks, commencing first of April last. Though perceiving no relief for a time, and being much and earnestly advised against the medicine, I am happy to say, that on taking about one half of the phial a cure commenced; so that ever since finishing the process, I have been free of 16 the above named difficulties, with general health better. MARY BURNETT. The above statement of ray wife I consider as correct. Wm. Burnett, Chaplain U. S. Army. Brooklyn, L. I. Aug. 3, 1841. I have long been a great sufferer with the Salt-Rheum, as all my neighbors very well know, while the Saratoga Springs, and many highly recommended prescriptions have been faithfully tried without a cure. During four or five weeks in the mouths of April and May last, I took one phial of “ Jones'1 Drops for Humors,” and whether I am finally cured thereby or not, I am happy to say that since then, I have been in perfect health, and entirely free from all ap- pearance of the disease, which I have not been able to say before for forty vears. AMOS DUTTON. Wallingford, Ct. July 22, 1841. This is to certify, that after a severe affliction with the Erysipelas during the period of twelve years, I am now and have been free from it for the last ten months, by the use of half one phial of Jones’ Drops for Humors. Mrs. HANNAH BENNETT. Brooklyn, L. I. No. 161, York St. March 4, 1842. 17 The undersigned having long been personally acquainted with Mr. Cha’s Jones, of Claremont, N. H. and with the general efficacy of his med- icine called “Jones’ Drops for Humors,” since its late discovery, both among our neighbors and from various distances and directions abroad, can cordially recommend the use of the medi- cine as efficacious in all the variety of internal and external humors. We are prepared also to say, from all we can learn by inquiry and other- wise, that while there are very many persons cured and in a process of cure, by these drops, of obstinate skin complaints of the various kinds, there has as yet no case come to our knowledge, where the patient has actually gone through with a regular course of the medicine according to the published directions, without being en- tirely or so far cured, as to be satisfied of its ex- traordinary efficacy in their own complaints. ERASTUS GLIDDEN, [Cashier Claremont Bank.] JOSIAH RICHARDS, M. D. Claremont. TIMOTHY S. GLEASON, M. D. “ NEWTON WHITTELSEY, [Town Clerk,] “ SIMEON IDE, “ ASA SARTWELL, “ JOS. WEBER, [Asso. June 23, 1841. 18 To all who are afflicted with the Salt-Rheum, or Leprosy, this may certify that during a period ot'fifty years I was afflicted with a disease called by some Leprosy, and by others Salt-Rheum, for which I used almost every remedy prescribed for it, (having consulted many physicians, em- inent in their professions,) all of which produc- ed no lasting benefit. I also passed a year at Ballston Springs, for the purpose of using the water, and for five years I tried West’s Chlo- rine Cosmetic and Pills. My sufferings were indescribable. My body and limbs being fre- quently covered with raw sores. In August last I commenced taking Jones’ Drops and Pills for Humors ; in about a fortnight the disease be- gan to relinquish its powerful grasp, and contin- ued to lose its hold upon me until the month of March last, when it entirely disappeared. I used two bottles of the drops. Would that I could see face to face all who are afflicted as I have been, I would say to them, “tarry not in all the plain”—hasten to procure Jones’ Drops for Humors, and, as the prophet said to Naaman, “thou shall be clean.” ABIGAIL PAINE. New Lebanon Springs, N. Y. TELL IT IN GATH! 17th May, 1842. I have been well acquainted with Miss Paine for twenty years, and have no doubt of the truth of her statement. HENRY HULL. 19 This may certify that the undersigned has a son three and a half years old, who from his earliest infancy was troubled with a disorder manifesting itself in red blotches, attended with an iiritable itching, so great as to deprive the child of rest, and to render him an object of comraisseration to all who knew him. 1 con- sulted some of the best physicians in this city, and tried many of the pretended icmedies of the day—all without success. On hearing (through an acquaintance) of “Jones’Drops and Pills for Humors,” I procured a package of it, and in the use of less than a bottle, I am most happy to say that my son is apparently well, and I hereby advise all others in like circumstances to try said medicine, as I have no doubt they will be cured. JAMES H. HARMAN. NOT HALF TOLD YET! Portland, Me. May 13, 1842. My son of ten years of age, has been afflicted from his infancy, with a scrofulous humor, with hard bunches upon his neck, resulting at times in ulcerations. For relief, I had consulted sev- eral physicians, and tried many remedies, but all to no good effect, until in the summer of 1841, I heard of “Jones’ Drops for Humors,” the virtues of which were so well authenticated that I was induced to purchase and try them.— The result was, my son w as cured by the use of less than one bottle. O. L. SANBORN. Portland, Me. May 12, 1842. Directions for Using. DROPS. Carefully read, understand and remember the directions, and then follow them, especially in counting the drops. Dose—Adults of able consti- tutions should commence by taking three or four drops at a time, twice a day—lst in the morning before eating, and 2d at evening before retiring; mixed with two or three tea-spoons of water, sweetened if you please or in any other drink, even to a cup of tea or coffee. Increase this dose one drop only per day, and that at night, and take the same number in the morning as on the eve- ning before; and continue this slow increase, if the stomach* and system will bear it, till taking ten or twelve drops twice a day; and then continue with this number without variation, if able comfortably to do it, till the cure is effected. Adults oi feeble constitutions, or those who can- not bear the medicine so fast as above, must de- termine how many drops to take, by trying the experiment. Let them begin by taking one, two or three drops at a time, as they choose, twice a day, and increase the same as above, yet with care not to take more at the largest dose than they can endure without essentially injuring their appetite for food, or hindering their usual avocations, how- ever small it may make their regular dose. In some cases, even adults are not able to endure the med- icine a fourth part so fast as others of apparent like constitutions, and yet their necessary slow process, if faithfully pursued, will produce a cure as certainly as with a rapid process, though they may not be well quite as soon. 22 Children’s daily doses should be regulated by their age, &c, as in case of other powerful medi- cines. If, at any time, the Drops have been taken too fast for the constitution, which may usually be known by the sickening or nausea of the stomach, swelling of the limbs, or suffering of the feebler parts of the body, the doses must be omitted a day or two, or just long enough to rectify the constitu- tion. Immediately upon this, the patient should begin again the same as at first, with the smallest number of the drops, taking care not to increase the dose so much as before; taking them if possi- ble, just fast enough and just slow enough to keep them constantly in the system and operating on the disease, without essential injury to the usual health or comfort of the body.—Shake up the Drops be- fore taking them. PILLS. Two boxes of Pills, or one of double size, of my own preparing, will accompany every phial of the Drops; which must be taken two evenings in a week or semi-weekly, from two to five at a time, or more if necessary to move gently. They are entirely a vegetable composition, easy in their op- eration, and for a family use second to none. For children, senna may be used, or other mild physic, instead of the Pills, at discretion. An extra supply of the Pills will be left where this medicine is kept, to be used in mild cases of humors, or for family physic. On taking the Pills at evening, the dose of drops may be omitted, and also on the morning after. Should there be an undue laxness of the bowels while taking this medicine, as is sometimes the the Drops should be omitted for a short 23 time, or just long enough to regulate the system by a little paragoric, or a more free use of the Pills; otherwise the Drops if used, will only pass oft' quickly without producing their designed effect on the disease. IQ3* Patients not personally acquainted with these Drops, and having more fears than hopes concerning their use, are now informed that sever- al such are known to be yet suffering with their disease, only because of their stopping short in using the medicine, under the presumption of their not being able to take it at all; who might have had a seasonable cure had they taken the Drops only as they could endure their operation. Many who have thus stopped the use of the Drops without a fair trial, have been induced to begin again, by further instruction and counsel, and are cured by the more slow and easy process of taking the med- icine. Then let none who desire a cure by these Drops and begin to try them, fail of a cure by stopping their use, under the improper presumption of not being able to take them without injury.— And let none decide against the medicine because of its being too powerful to be taken hastily by large measure and by guess. Other medicines, having power and efficacy, will injure the paietnt if taken in quantities far above the proper prescrip- tions. The first tokens of a cure usually (but not al- ways) appear before half of one phial is taken, and sometimes within a week,—which are, in some cases, less itching of the parts affected; in others the slow disappearance of the disease from the sur- face; and in others, frequently, (for a short time only) the more full coining out of the same.—One phial of the Drops, taken as directed, will in many cases prove sufficient. Obstinate cases may need two or three, for it is often necessary to persevere in the use of the remedy a few weeks after the dis- appearance of the disease, that it may be thorough- ly eradicated from the system. ICP This medicine is prepared only for those afflicted with cutaneous eruptions, such as Salt- Rheum, St. Anthony’s Fire or Erysipelas, Scald- head, Leprosy, Scrofula or King’s Evil, Prairie itch (of the West,) or any of their kindred disea- ses, and such as has ever baffled all human skill. N B.—To prevent counterfeits, the Directions will be signed by the inventor, Cha’s Jones, in his own hand-writing.—The price is reasonable con- sidering its invariable efficacy when fully tried as directed, and also the difficulty and expense of in- troducing it abroad, where so many have been gulled with useless medicines, and while but few, comparatively, need the article, and those few not often more than once each. It contains more med- icine than is usually put into a quart of medical syrups, often at the same price. This will appear from the longer time necessary for using it. It might be made into a pleasant Panacea at about the scime expense, but the inconvenience to travel- lers, and of packing and sending abroad from this its only place of manufacture, forbids its being thus diluted in the preparation. mu#* Which are an essential part of this medicine, may be suffi- cient in some mild cases of humors, and for a Family Med- icine will only need be tried to be approved. To be taken about twice a week on going to bed. The whole may he found at TRY IT, AS OTHERS HAVE, AND BE CURED.
