fatal ©ice at % Sanitary tomisMib n ' Js3s. . f§6 The accompanying miscellaneous and medical docu- ments of the Sanitary Commission are all that are at present available. It will be observed that the num- bers indicate some omissions in the series. This arises from the fact that in some cases the publication of a document has been countermanded after a place in the series had been appropriated to it, and in others, because the editions issued have become exhausted, and the document is now out of print. In the case of the miscellaneous publications out of print, the omissions are of no consequence for general pur- poses, the earlier ones having been superseded by later, in which has been embodied whatever was of permanent interest in the former. It is designed to republish the medical monographs which are at present out of print. ALFRED J. BLOOR, Assistant Secretary.
