The GYNrEC-RETREAT is centrally located in a 
beautiful part of West Philadelphia, at 
3412 SPRING GARDEN STREET, 
and may be reached by the Arch Street cars, which pass 
the door. 
Patients from a- distance are expected to give due 
notice of their applications for admission, in order that 
places may be held for them. 
Full details may be obtained with regard to facilities, 
accommodations, etc., through private correspondence. 
All communications are held in strict confidence,

* | 'HE GYNAIC-RETREAT is not a public charity 
or hospital, but is strictly a private retreat or home 
for lying-in women and female diseases, for those who do 
not desire publicity and are amply able to pay for home 
comforts not attainable in public institutions. 
Not only are the comforts and seclusion of home 
made an especial object of this Retreat, but also, by the 
aid of an ample corps of physicians, the very best of 
medical attendance is always available. 
At our reasonable rates, which we quote to appli- 
cants, medical service is included, together with all 
necessary attendance, though any patient has the choice 
of her own physician by paying the extra charges for 
the same.
