February 19, 1919. Dear Dr. Gregg: I have received your telegram advising that you are prepared to accept the appointment for Brazil. I have not yet received the letter to which you refer, but take it for granted that it will arrive in due course. Your nomination will come before the Board at its meeting on the 25th of this month. I have already wired Dr. Hackett advising him that you are to sail by the first boat in March for Rio de Janeiro. We are taking up the matter of securing your passport. Mr. Lund will communicate with you concerning sailing arrangements. Thank you very much for the two publications which have just arrived. Very sincerely yours, Wickliffe Rose
