Thanks for your congratulations and advice.
We'd like to help with your requests for antibody and src protein. However, we too have difficulty preparing large amounts of McAB 327, and we are about to try a few other monoclonals in the immunoaffinity purification procedure. In addition, our stocks of purified src proteins are low and prolonged storage has reduced their activity.
David Morgan, a postdoctoral fellow who has recently become a UCSF faculty member, is producing a new preparation of myristate-minus c-src protein and would be happy to send you some of it.  You can call him directly at 415/476-2251.

P.S. Incidentally we have isolated new SH2 mutants of c-src that show strong host dependence and altered substrate preference when isolated from avian and mammalian host cells. I'll send a preprint to you when it's ready.
