Dear Salva:
This is a brief note to let you know that I am desperately attempting to meet the deadline on the manuscript.  It so happens that I am working under very difficult circumstances, since my secretary has come down with viral pneumonia and has been hospitalized for the last three weeks and is still there.  While her assistants are desperately trying to keep up, life has become difficult.  In addition, for the last few weeks and the next several weeks, my lab is being flooded with visitors who desire to learn how to prepare replicase.  These include people from Sinsheimer's lab, Zinder's, August, etc.  As you may know, Weissmann has been able to confirm our findings on template specificity with a replicase preparation we sent to him.
After three years he and Ochoa expressed their "admiration of this remarkable achievement." But Ochoa still will not let Weissmann come here to learn with the others.  These enzymologists are really quite a bunch of people.
