Dear Professor Nirenberg,
Recently our group got interested in electrical membrane properties of neuroepithelial cells, neuroblasts and developing nerve cells. We were informed that you are working in this field since many years. This is why we should like to ask you to help us with a first orientation and survey of the literature. In other words: which review articles and original articles would give us an idea about what is known and what is missing? We are aware of some work on cultured cells but could not so far find papers on developing cells in situ.
