CRAY VICE PRESIDENT WASHINGTON, D.C. 20005 PUBLIC RELATIONS DIVISION AREA CODE 202-296-2440 January 13, 1976 Dr. Joshua Lederberg Professor of Genetics Department of Genetics Stanford University School of Medicine Stanford, California 94305 Dear Dr. Lederberg: I apologize for the delay (vacation and holidays intervened) in responding to your letter of December 22, asking for bibliographical infor- mation on regulation of pharmaceuticals. So far as I have been able to determine, there is no ready source of such a listing. I see that your people are going to do a MEDLARS search, and while my understanding is that MEDLARS is rather light on such things, I hope that it produces something of value. In the meantime, we are assembling a bibliography, and while it is doubtless incomplete, I think that the materials listed will represent a reasonable sample of the more useful literature on the subject. We will get it off to you in a week or so. If you have any difficulty running down any of the items listed, I would be glad to obtain them for you. I do thank you for asking for our assistance. Sincerely, WV.C Cu. William C. Cray WCC: cfb Representing manufacturers of prescription pharmaceuticals
