It gives me great pleasure to inform you that at the Executive Committee
Meeting of The New York Academy of Sciences on May 15, 1945, you were elected
to Active Membership in the academy. Upon receipt of your dues for the year
1945, for which a bill is enclosed, you will be entitled to all the privileges

of membership.

Active Members are entitled to receive, gratis, all current papers of
the Annals. The enclosed letters and post cards indicate the current numbers
now available. If you do not wish all of these publications, you may select
substitute copies of previously published papers from the enclosed up-to-date
publication list. Upon receipt of your request, we shall send the publications

to you.

You will receive the Bulletin and the Transactions of the Academy regu-
jarly. The Bulletin is a monthly publication and sepves to notify Members of
the regular meetings of the Academy. The Transactions, in which are published
those papers presented before the regular Sectional meetings and containing
other general information of interest to the Members, are issued as a monthly
publication in eight parts during the academic year, from November to June.

We hope you will enjoy your membership in the Academy. Please call upon

the courtesy and service of this office at any time.
