We appreciate having received a letter dated February 8 from M. D. Levin,
Acting Assistant Administrator, National Program Staff, Agriculture

Research Service, concerning USDA activities in regard to potato blight
research.

In pursuing the matter, it would be helpful to know how the USDA
conducts its grading and monitoring of potatoes, to ensure that no
diseased produce reaches consumers.
