Many thanks for the batch of neprints which
just arrived. In contrast to others, I do not put
yours Feprdmts aside for future reading but always
manage to get at them right away. I had the usual
rewarding experience this time of finding your
papers extremely stimulating and I would like to
thank you very much for sending your reprints
to me and for keeping me on your mailing list.

A few days ago, Ruth Gross paid us a
flying visit from Pavia. As you perhaps know,
we are considering her for one of the two co-
directorships of our Heredity Clinic and I do hope
she will accept the offer. We just got the grant
to set up this clinic,and it represents a very
important point in the development of genetics at
this school in the direction of the: creation of a
full Department of Genetics.
