goed deal of you in person before long.

1. As you know, we could not get along without your provision
of mxumsx serums: We are freshly out (or nearly so) of the following:

2. Here's our tentative itinerary. We're flying from Paris to London
March 12 (Tues.) on AF 590, arriving 7:15PM. We hope to stay in London
till Monday the 18th, when we're flying up to Glasgow. Then back from
Edinburgh the following Sunday, 24th for the Ciba conference that week.
(The metings are Tu-Th, then there's a session of the Roy Soc Med I'l]
have to give a paper at, Fri. ) We fly back to NY Sunday 11PM (PAA 71).

the Ciba people have us well fixed up at Portland house cur whole time
in London, which seems the most practical if not the most congenial, perhaps
the latter too. we're counting cn that first week (12-18) to see London
and our friends; we hope you won't be too busy that week, Would you let
whoever else cares know about these dates?

3. We made a tape to send you lust Thanksgiving, but never got around
to recordébng some vital addenda, so it never was finished. Lurry Morse
happened to be visiting with us around that tige. He ssems to be quite
happy at Denver,

4. I wonder if this rumor has gotten across the Atlantic-- it's reached
the most remarkable people here, but the communication channels are rather
noisy. Father and I had a very refreshing Xmas vacation trip to California,
but the eftermath has been quite unsettling, namely and to wit that we are
in the throes of indecision as to whether to accept offers, respectively,
for new vogitions at Stacford Univ, (Palo Alto} and at the U. of Calig.
(Berkeley}. The rumor here has been thst we've accented the latter, which is
net true, though we miy find gu ourselves helpless in the face of public
opinion. One of the counterpeises ig a new development hers in medical
genetics (as an integrated program of research and training with microbes
mice and men.) I hope we will have decided before leaving for this trip.
But in any case, we won't be moving antil July of next year (158.

You can see life will be rather complicated. After returning from
London, I've got to go out to California again, then back home, then
there again in June en route to Melbourne where we'll be with Ré&bbo
and Burnet through August. We have September free for ‘pleasure travel’.
