Dear Josh:

In reply to your letter of September 2, I know
of no commercially available instrument which could be modified
easily to give an instrument comparable to the photonreflectometer
which we use. I would suggest that you have the University shop
make one for you.

The principal features of the instrument have been
described by Libby (Science, 93, 459 (1941)). Lampen expects to
visit your laboratory & Yale this coming Monday end can explein
some of the details of construction.
