Dear Robinow:

I promised to send you our first prints of haploid and diploid coli. Our
Camera equipment arrived last week, and we managed to run off the accompanying,
photographically incompetent prints (Bad ferrétype plate and uneven development of
negative). We are not quite adequately set up, but should be an a few days.
However, the enclosed m& should illustrate the differenses we consistm tly find
between 2n and 1n cultures. If you have run across E. coli looking like our 2n,

I should be glad to hear about it.
