The following arrangements are cleared if you want to take advantage
of them. We have $125 for your expenses to Madison. Sonneborn tells m
they have at least another $50 for additional expenses on their account:
they might have done better if they had had more notice. The total should
suffice. May 10-15 would be acceptable to both camps ere.

If this suits you, would you let ms and Sonneborn know your,intentions
ab your earliest convenience. I kmow how stteax distracted you mst be
but hope you can give me an early word, as we mst make sundry arrangements,

We are looking forward to seeing you. I think you'll be amsed at the
prevalence of automixis (= "somatic" segregatipn/crossing-over) in F. coli,
both on dgiploids and in heterogenotes; we've never had a good chance to talk
over the striking analogies in the genetics of Aspergillus and of coli.
