THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO YERKES OBSERVATORY WILLIAMS BAY, WIS. March 31, 1953 Dear Dr. Lederberg, I am extremely sorry not to have seen you in Madison, but the situation here was such that without a car I couldn't have gotten anywhere--and no one was ina car~lending mood. I shall be abroad from May through October, mainly to see people in connection with my book. Most of the time I shall be working at the Naples Zoological Station. I don't suppose you will be in New York before I leave, but I want very mich to see you when I return. Meanwhile, if you have time, could you do me two favors: send me a few of your more veneral reprints, and let me know who you think I should see abroad. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you eventually. Incidentally, my address by the time you get this note: P.O. Box 197, New Hope, Pa. tT Gi Sisd 24 * Sincerely, o i. oe tt fv bF. eh Hebe John Pfeiffer
