Dear Josh,

Thanks very much for your letter which came as a
very pleasant surprise. I am of course thrilled by the
idea of seeing you and Esther again in your new surroun-
dings.

My plans were completed and my itinerary was ~-
after the fest models - sent around to the people I was
going to visit. As all these visits are in the vicinity
of New York (in a rather wide sense, i.e. Atlanta,
Washington and New York itself) I feel that the best
thing to do will be to go to Stanford.on the 30°" of
September after the visits already planned. I have no
timetables at hand right now but I feel that quite a
number of flights from New York to S. Francisco are
available, and further that departure at noon from
New York will bring one to S. Francisco the same evening.
I have ordered a around trip ticket Copenhagen-New York-
San Francisco ~ New York - Copenhagen and according to
the available information the difference in price between
the original around trip ticket Copenhagen ~ New York and
the new one Copenhagen - San Francisco will be 232 &.

I am very happy about this extension of my trip
and am really looking foreward to seeing
you both.
