Unfortunately memories are frequently short. Ifear that those
Regents who think that the proposed building(s) for that slope could
be put up "around the trees" have already forgotten the ruthless ex-

I note that the Regents P-C has neither a poct, writer, artist

You have much popularity and prestige within and outside tne
state Connie - especially among the alumni. And tais rightly so.
Why not show the people that you can be a leader to carry us FORWARD.
Come out against this barbaric plan to turn Bascom Woods over to the
chain-saw and the bull-dozer.

It would appear to me that here is your first big chance as
President of the University to be evaluated. History will adjudge you
as having been either a hero or a bum on this issue, As usual,
