Dear Dr. Lederberg:

First of all, I wish to tell you how much I enjoyed
the opportunity of meeting with you and discussing
problems related to the nervous system.

Iam at present in the process of writing an article
for Science on our work and I should like to quote the
short essay you kindly gave me on Eugenics and Euphenics.
In the pamphlet it is mentioned that the essay represents
the “substance of a contribution to the Ciba Foundation
Symposium, November, 1962, abbreviated for submission to
Nature. " I wonder if it is at present already in print
in Nature and if you have any other article on this ¥
matter which I could read. Under separate cover I am

sending you some of our recent work dealing with the
Nerve Growth Factor.
