Dear Dr. Lederberg:
I had visited your laboratory in Madison Sometime ago, and until last Fall we moved back to California, I did work on the heterochratin[?] cycle in Ascaris chromosomes under the guidance of Dr. R. B. Goldschmidt and Dr. Curt Stern in Berkeley.  I am seeking for a research position in the San Francisco area.  I would appreciate your advice if your laboratory will have opening for cytological study in relation to medical research.
