Jacques Monod and Melvin Cohn were kind ono to let me read a cop
of their ms. "La biosynthese induite des ensymes (Adaptation Ensymatique)"
which I understand is now {n press for a forthcoming volum. If it is not

too late, may I point out a typographical error for correction: on p. 49, last
line, of the ms., m@me facteur (lac)~ de Lederberg).... should read

meme facteur (lac, de Lederberg).... ‘I have already written to Monod
mentioning that I-would notify you directly to save time.
