Thank you very much for the letters of invitation which will be
very helpful and also for your beautiful card from Nice. It was almost

incredible to imagine the snow on those beaches.

Unfortunately, I have not known of the symposium in London in
April before, and it is too late to srrange anything now. If you would
have any chance to come this way,we would be most happy to have you and
T am sure that we could arrange for your travel and living expenses
between London and Stockholm. You may be interested to hear that we
have finally solved the problem of a visiting professor; after much
correspondence Bertani has accepted to come September 1, 1960. His

wife will be with him, and they will both stay here a year.
