Dear Professor Lederberg;
I owe you an apology for my long silence.  Unfortunately I feel ill after returning home and untill [sic] now I am under treatment for some heart trouble.  I hope to be back in my laboratory in May.  Then I shall send you reprints and wanted strains.
I will write to you then more.
We are happy in Poland that it was you who was honoured in Stockholm with the Nobel Prize.
