Dear Dr. Kunicki~Goldfingers ;

I am pleased to learn that you will be visiting the U.S. this
fall.

We will be very happy to offer you the facilities of our laboratory
for a month in Septeyber.

Our own plana, at present, are to attend the International Micro-

biology Congress at Stockholm, returning to tiemdix Canada in tine
to attend the Genetics Congress at Montreal, and fron there home,
For this reason, it would be perhaps most convenient if you could
postpone your arrival at Madison until a week or ten days after
the Congress, This will perhaps afford you time to visit sane
other institutions en route, and will let me catch up on ny
paper~work before your arrival.

If this is agreeable to you, we can discuss further details
at Montreal, and perhaps Stockholm as well.

I am very much interested in your remark about the inheritance Ss
of cold-induced reshstance. Do you think it applies when the =
g (F*) parent is the resistant one? Perhaps this is a point we x
