I am a medical student at the Johns Hopkins
School of Nedicine and willbe receiving my !..D. in
June, 1964. My undergraduate work was done at Caltech.

My prixary interest and orientation is in the
general field of biophysics, more specifically contro).
and regulatory systems at the subcellular level. Doctors
Howard Dintzis and Michael Naughton of the Hopkins
Biophysics department, where I have worked for some
period of time, have suggested that I contact you
revarding the possibilitics for study and research at
Stanford.

I shall be in California from Dec. 21 until the
