Dear Josh,

As Dick Davies has told you, I have reserved a
room for you at the Athenaeum for the 19th and 20th. We
might just be able to put everybody up there, and Dick is
trying to find out how many will definitely attend. I
have also put you down for a place at the dinner on
Friday night, where Glennan will speak. Pearl and I are
going, too, and so is Dick.

I will send the addition/copies of my report

in a few days.

I will meet the Lark at Glendale on Thursday
morning, It is due at 8:02, and this will give us time
to get you over to the Athenaeum before the start of the
colloquium. We will save at least half an hour and » lot
of unpleasant freewey driving at a rush hour if you get
off at Glendale, instead of going into L.A.

I think I will write to Oparin, but first I'd
like to know what became of your projected meeting with
Timakov in Stockholm. Oparin's letter sounds quite en-
douraging, actually. What transpired at the Stockholm
meeting?

I also enjoyed the Stanford meeting and am looking
forward to learning something about Venus this month.
