Dear Joshua,

The book on fluorine that we have been waiting
for is Simon's (Fluorine Chemistry). It was ordered about
two months ago and is due to arrive any day. If you see
any books on the subject or related ones that you think
we should have, please order them for us, if this is not

too inconvenient, and.shall reimburse you.

I should obtain the visa next week,{I shall
write as soon as I know the exact date of our arrival.
I have at present an alternative booking: either SF
through NY, arrival 12.25 pm on July 3rd (TWA 45), or
SF through Mexico City arrival 17.20 on liionday July 4th
(Western). As I hope my lectures will be on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays; nothing much should be lost by cu:
wy arriving on lionday, and it would give us a chance to
spend some time at Cuba - Merida - Mexico City, almost
without extra expense, I will therefore, if possible, keep
to the second schedule.

Thank you for the notice of the apartment which
seems quite suitable. As far as cars go, we have had some
change of mind; Alba will probably prefer a bike, so I
will look for one car ~ unless you have already found two.
