Dear Joshua,

We shall soon have more opportunity to discuss the
Stanford prograume. Meanwhile, let us settle the more immediate
plans for your trip after Stockholm.

I chose Ligurgfarather than Nice because (a) you
mentioned it first, (b) at this time here, we try to reduce
expenses to a minimum, and (t) we have some works going on in
a house we have recently bought at San iiichele and I am therefore
pleased when I can take advantage of anyopportunity of spending
half an hour on the premises. On the other hand, there are places
in the heighbourhood you have not yet seen and might enjoy seeing,
that is why I thought you would ‘not have minded going there again.

Please confirm your time of arrival and flight number.
Otherwise, if I do not hear from you, I shall be at the Milan

airport of Malpensa to meet you on flight SAS 683 due at 12.15p.m.
on December 14th.

We are looking forward to seeing you and Esther again.
