Dear Josh:
I just saw a copy of Garfield's letter to you.  I think most of the committee should probably be Easterners unless your attendance at Eastern meetings is unlikely.  If we do select any other Western geneticists, I know that Everett Dempster and Paul David are both enthusiastic.
