Dear Tracy:

The question of the meetings in Cleveland
has been more debated, It is my impression that
the general feeling is similar to Cleland's, that
the meeting should be held with the approval of
ODT, if possible, or, if not,should be cancelled,
I am enclosing copy of a wire sent from here
to the ODT, and thetr reply, that seems to me
clear cut enough. To be remembered that ODT
required that_meetings should not be held) several
months agoY(see Bulletin A.A.A.S. July issue).
Yesterday Dobzhamsky received from Yale copy of
the other enclosure, a letter that the Yale group
is sending to Science in order to clarify the issue.

We all added our signatures and returned xa@ it
to Hutchinson.

 

We are all very pleased at the idea of your

visiting here. Delbrlick will arrive also on the
Zist.
