The General Advisory Committee wishes to thank you for your
letter including a nomination for the Fermi Award. The Award

is given from time to time by the Atomic Energy Commission for
outstanding accanplishment in the field of atomic energy. All
nominating letters, together with the supplementary evidence
which has been made available, will be considered by the Committee
this spring.

In the event that no Award is given this year, or your candidate
does not receive the next Award, all information on file with the

General Advisory Committee will be retained for reconsideration
next year.
