Dear Lederberg:
Enclosed Haldane's manuscript with my comments.  I hope you will derive some enlightenment from it.  His mathematics is often unnecessarily cumbersome.
Please return these things to me in due course.  Luria wants to see them.
Newman's manuscript is not entirely beside the point but I have not yet had time to give it much attention.
