I am interested in trying the method for isolating single
cells which you described in the August issue of the Journal of
Bacteriology.

I am a doctorate student at Michigan State College, but I

will be tn Hurope, at the University of Munich, this coming Nee
year to carry out my research, My research is a continuation of f°"

a taxonomic and physiologic study of the genus Chromobecterium;
but unlike with my previous investigations with this group, I
would like to work with "single celled" cultures.

In view of the difficulty encountered in taking too much
reference materisl to Burope, I would appreciate it if you would
send me a reprint of your note in the Jd. of Bact. that I might
take it with me instead of the whole number of the Journal. I
sail from New Yerk about October 15th.; so if you are able to
send me a reprint, any haste would be sincerely appreciated,
