I have read with much interest the
recent abstracts of your work referred to
in Genetics, 1948, 33, 617, and take the
liberty of sending a reprint of a very
ancient paper on secondary colony formation,
in the hope it may be of interest.

Although I have not as yet finally
decided, it seems at the moment of writing
I may come over for the meeting of the
American Cancer Society and the National
Cancer Institute to be held at Memphis late in
February. If you are to be present, I should
very much like the opportunity of seeing you.
