TO WHOM IT MAY OONCERN:

Mr. Herbert Dorfaen has been employed in this laboratory

for several months, during which time he has consolentiously and
intelligently aerried out his duties. His responsibilities ineluded
the washing of laboratory claeeware, preparation of culture nedie
and rearent solutions, and the hendling of bacterial cultures. I
believe him to be well qualified to undertake a tectnicel position
of thic kind, or,without heving referred to his academic record,

to go on into graduete etudy and research. |
