Dear Dr. Chargaff:

I am very anxious to complete the program of the symposium on
"Nucleic Acids and Nucleoproteins" as soon as possible, and so will
appreciate it if you can send me the title of your paper soon.

Dr. Stacey will not be able to attend the symposium, and there-
fore I expect that you will be the only speaker on the topic of bacter-
jal nucleoproteins. Dr. Michael A. Peshkov, of Moscow, U.S.S.R., was
invited to speak in this section, but I have not had a reply from him
and do not expect an acceptance.
