Dear Joshua:

I understand that you and I are both among those who have heen
invited to occupy a chair as visiting professor in Tokyo in
1955. I thought you might be interested to know that I'm out
of the running since I'll be busy organizing a department of
pharmacology at NYU Medical School, starting this July.

I'm planning to take advantage of your invitation to stay
with you when I come to Madison the last week of this month.
According to present plans I will visit Cleveland on Monday
and Tuesday, January 25 and 26th, and will arrive in Madison
during the day on Wednesday. I hope to stay through Thursday,
and possibly Friday.

I look forward very much to seeing you and Esther.
