I am writing in hopes that you will give me some information on the lecture which you gave this past June concerning your finding of linkages groups -- and evidence of crossing-over which indicate the existence of chromosomes in bacteria. I am familiar with the article; "Novel Genotypes in Mixed Cultures of Biochemical Mutants of Bacteria; however I understand that your comments and lecture at Cold Harbor were of a more specific nature.
Any information which you could give me on this matter would receive my deepest appreciation.
