| am working on comparing the present international system with previous ones
since the Renaissance. I’m looking at the ingredients of systems and how and
why they change. I don’t want to limit myself to my field, i.e. political
science/history, so I am searching for how disciplines across the board —
economics, anthropology, international relations, history, political science,
psychology, science, etc. — think about systems.

I thought you might have some useful suggestions of significant works in your
field for an annotated bibliography I am putting together. Also, you may be able

to recommend other people whom I should contact. I would appreciate a letter or
a conversation or whatever would be convenient for you.
