Dear Josh:

As a matter of fact, you were going to send me
a few cultures. Charlie would like some purine and
pyrimidine requiring mutants, together with any
double amino acid requiring purine or pyrimidine
mutants. We want these to play around on the amino
acid restriction of protein synthesis.

According to the Lewins you went to Halifax
and enjoyed it. Far more sensible place than the
A.I.B.S. As you may know, Cutter has left us --
is head of the biology department at University of
North Carolina at Greensboro, a female college,
That coupled with Naylor's, Bloch'ts and Lewins's
departure leaves a somewhat smaller staff here.

One other item of interest -~- I just had
another hearing before the A.E.C. Review Board,
and even my attorney now feels that it is very
likely we will get cleared.
