Dear Josh,
The mutant I need[?] was Y-139 (-anz, -histidone); no significant difference in no. of [ . . . ] in advance of [ . . . ] pistrate[?]. The [ . . . ] was played[?] with variations.  I think that either the transforming prep was inadequate (for which we have as yet no test[?]) or the dipirincy[?] will not be transformed.  For chrissake [sic] get us a C2R.  I have played with a few roughs[?] but they wouldn't transform, transformable R must be something of a rarity.  This would seem to cast even more suspicion upon the significance of experiments with the C2S supposedly mixed population.
Re: amino acids; Sinote's[?] test w. equal cell snop[?] (K last[?]) at level of on.[?]  75 v. remid[?] a /oc , how slight but almost imperceptible difference in form of C1.  What this means I am hesitant to say.  I'll settle for a C2R.
