LT-1 pedigrees [scientific diagram, see original]
LT-1 number 306 looks O.K. and am sending it along. LT-1 number 84 has dried out and is lost except for the lyophied tubes you have.
S. Typhimurium [?] v. copenhagen has number 11 on it not number 12 but am sending it along for you.
Again with SW-950 H minus the part of leaving [?] lysogenic volumes [?] phage: FA ratio a factor of 10-20 with a small further reduction by using lytic phage (quantitatively obscure

because of non-linearity of assay). Have yet to see a case where lysogenization did not reduce transduction efficiency. --- Repeated premature [?] lysis experiments with 950 H minus as marker scored. Results agree completely with those previously obtained (late FA appearance) despite peculiarities of the assay. By taking final lysate (70 minutes) and diluting so as to plate at multiplications comparable to those of premature lysates can get a direct comparison i.e. first [mathematical equation, see original] phage appearing gives no transduction; [mathematical equation, see original] phage from natural lysate gives 50 transductions.
